With your Patient Care Technician Certificate, you’ll have the knowledge you need to pursue a fulfilling career in health care as a valued member of a patient care team. Program content will give you a solid foundation in the principles of patient care, including infection control, mobility support, monitoring of vital signs and personal hygiene assistance. Through learning to support patients’ physical and emotional needs, you’ll be prepared to provide exceptional care in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and other health care facilities.
